Booking a writing retreat is radical self-care, and this day retreat in the heart of Pollok Country Park will be a total treat. Welcome to the first ever WLAG Scotland retreat!

As the world tips into sunnier days in the week of the solstice, reignite your creativity in a space full of understanding, welcoming and supportive humans who will encourage your writing and allow you to nourish yourself in the best way possible.

Retreats are notoriously expensive so WLAG has worked hard to make this one-day retreat affordable, rewarding and welcoming. Each participant will have a dedicated workspace with the option of breakout spaces with soft furnishing and (weather providing) outdoor areas for a stretch, sunbathe or al fresco writing session. During our lunch break, there will be an optional walk through the beautiful forested park. Rumour has it you may even encounter a Highland cow or two.

A lovely local caterer will provide lunch with tea, coffee & biscuits on tap all day. Your booking includes a one-to-one session with Kirsty where generous, supportive and targeted feedback will be given on your wonderful words.

Over the course of the day, you’ll be guided through gentle writing sprints and leave the retreat with a clear idea of how to write with self care and the power of community behind you.
